DRCO BOARD MEETING
January 17, 2019
In attendance: Gene Bullock, Sandy Bullock, Debbie Munroe, Candy Peters, Dennis Peters, Jeanette Rerecich, Larry Brixius, Rodney Shimabukuro, Bob and Cheri Stewart
The meeting was called to order at 6:47 PM. The minutes from the September 5, 2018 meeting were not read.
Treasurer’s Report:
Dennis Peters presented Treasurer’s report (attached herein).
- Dennis requested that the Balance Sheet and Income Statement for 2018 be approved in order to do the 2018 taxes.
A motion was made, seconded and approved.
- Dennis requested approval to take the excess funds, not needed for 2019 operating expenses and invest in another CD with Edward R Jones, in addition to rolling over the matured CD into another CD, to maximize our income.
A motion was made, seconded and approved.
Old Business:
- Dennis requested the Board allow him to:
- credit small amounts of interest for homeowners who have paid all other balances due.
- send a letter to homeowners who have paid their dues but not fines, offering to waive $200 of fines if the remaining balance due is paid by February 15, 2019.
- Send a letter to three homeowners who have unpaid HOA dues, interest, and fines stating that $200 of fines would be waived if the remaining balance due is paid by February 15, 2019
A motion was made, seconded and approved.
New Business:
- A request was made to increase the budget by $250.00 in office supplies to print 140 copies of the rules and regulations for Deer Run, to be mailed to each homeowner or to be hand delivered to homeowners by Candy Peters and Sandy Bullock.
- Candy requested that the Board get a local Webmaster, since Debbie is not keeping the DRCO web page updated. It was agreed that Candy will pursue.
The next annual meeting was set for May 1, 2019.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
