President Bob Stewart Called the Meeting to Order at 2 P.M.
Briefing of meeting attended by Dennis & Bob with Matt Lind regarding (1) Rentals
and (2) Trees:
(1) Rentals- DRCO would need 100% of members to restrict rentals; we presently have 17 rentals. Washington State has strict rules about rentals; there is a form online.
(2)Trees- For the trees in the NGPA- A storm is an Act of God so there is no liability to DRCO. We need to send a letter to all homeowners bordering the NGPA (13 total), stating what has been done and asking for information about hazard trees for us (DRCO) to look at. Every 3-5 years we will look for trees that are a hazard. We will have an arborist look at possible “hazard trees”.
There is maybe one tree south of 2265 Bjorn that is dead. There might also be a 2nd tree; we will need to verify that it “leaved out” this year.
New Washington State law that DRCO needs to follow:
WA Code: 24.03A non-profit, effective January 1, 2022.
We will leave DRCO email as it is. When a member needs a change, they can contact the Board.
Purchase of new accounting software:
Board members had a discussion of present Quickbooks and our needs. Pete made a motion, seconded by Rena, to purchase 2022 Quickbooks- desktop. Motion Passed.
Purchase of a new voice recorder:
After a short discussion, it was decided to postpone any decision on purchasing a new voice recorder..
Directors review Property Change Applications:
APPROVED application for a new roof at 2365 NE Bjorn
APPROVED application for AC at 2172 NE Gusaf, placed on side of the house
APPROVED application for 6’ X11” concrete slab front of window at 2172 NE Gustaf
Treasurer’s Report
Board members discussed the March, April, and May financial sheets.
Green Landscaping (360-471-2560) has been handling our DRCO landscaping.
We have almost $9000 in our account.
Rena made a motion, seconded by Pete, to accept this financial report. Motion Passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:20 P.M.
Respectfully Submitted,
Judy Hossner, DRCO Secretary
